The 2017 Open is upon us! Over the next 5 weeks, an Open workout will be released every Thursday at 5pm PST and athletes will have until the following Monday at 5pm PST to complete the workout and submit their score. Unlike previous years, we will be programming each week’s workout as our regular Friday workout, and we will be running a “Friday Night Lights” event for participants to come compete, and cheer each other on.

If you’ve competed in The Open before, this is a yearly opportunity to measure your progress and test your current level of fitness. For those of you who are registering for the first time, The Open is a great way to set a baseline for future growth and push yourself to do things you may not have thought possible.

Participating in The Open isn’t required, but it’s something that we encourage everyone to do. For most of us, The Open isn’t about qualifying for The CrossFit Games or even Regionals. It’s about committing to a challenge, sharing in the community, and supporting each other along the way. Regardless of your level of fitness and experience, we hope that you will choose to join us.
